Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2002. She graduated second in her class and received the Outstanding Dental Hygienist Award. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Association, Laurie has held numerous positions on both the local and state level. In addition to her involvement with TDHA, Laurie’s post graduate orofacial myofunctional therapy education includes studies from The Breathe Institute, MyoFocus, Myo Munchee, and the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. She is a recent graduate of the Myo Masterminds Course through The Breathe Institute. She is a member of the International Association Airway Hygienists, Academy of Applied Myofunctional Sciences, and the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry.
