Green Apple Events & Catering,
we take the responsibility as an essential business very seriously. Safety is our primary focus as we provide daily meals for a local corporate leader of essential scientists and engineers.
We are also offering a contactless
Drive Thru
for a preset menu and are honored to serve customers made up of a combination of (1) our essential workforce such as the medical professionals and grocery store clerks, (2) our loyal customers supporting us and (3) our high risk customer base who have found a great way to receive healthy meals and minimize their risk of exposure by avoiding public stores.
In addition, we have provided large orders of boxed meals for our clients in the medical field and have partnered with
GrubHub
to offer you delicious healthy meals with contactless delivery.
We are fortunate to be in a position to donate food to a local shelter and people in need.
We have vacillated at times as to best steps going forward but after much consideration and discussions, we know the right thing to do is stay the course of our essential business providing our community nutritious meals while taking extreme safety measures for both our team and our customers.
We have implemented several measures to reduce our teams' risk of exposure in addition to our customers:
- We have a large kitchen that allows for six feet of distance between each chefs prep space on a normal basis.
- In an effort to allow for six feet of space when moving to walk-in’s, cook-line etc, we split the culinary team into two shifts.
- Our admin team is working remotely from home.
- We limited entry from the public (vendors, etc.) into our office space and although the food industry is already sanitary as heavily regulated by the King County Health Department, we are also practicing extra vigilance in hand washing and frequent sanitizing of all surfaces & high touch areas including a deep clean daily.
