An Update from us on COVID-19
The welfare of our consumers and staff come first!
BayPath Elder Services is in close contact with the   MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs , the   Department of Public Health ,   and other state and local agencies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We are following their guidance as well as the  CDC  recommended best practices. We are also in close communication with our extensive network of in-home service providers and our community partners during this crisis.

BayPath offers Essential Services
Governor Charlie Baker issued an emergency order requiring all businesses and organizations that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” to close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers, and the public as of Tuesday, March 24, at noon until Tuesday, April 7 at noon.

We want to assure our consumers and partners that as an Essential Service, we are continuing to provide services and ask that you are patient with us as we take all possible precautions to safeguard wellness.

As of March 18, our staff began operating remotely, and the office will be staffed by a few individuals daily. Calls to consumers may be returned from a Blocked or Unknown Caller, as our staff are using cell phones.

Home Delivered Meals
The situation with the Meals on Wheels program is also fluid, and we are working with community partners, our nutrition consortium, and the state to ensure we deliver meals to our most vulnerable consumers.

BayPath is looking for Meals on Wheels Drivers. If you are looking for a way to support your community during this in unprecedented time, volunteering as a meals on wheels driver is a great opportunity to help provide meals and check on our isolated elders. If you would like to volunteer, please email Denise Menzdorf at [email protected]

Keeping our consumers informed
As the state of affairs changes, we will update our website and social media platforms as rapidly as possible. We are working to ensure the health and wellness of our staff and consumers during this difficult time.

We know these are challenging times for everyone. Still, BayPath is doing all we can to relieve our consumers of unnecessary fear and uncertainty by uniting as a team to offer the best services when can during this crisis.
Sincerely,

Christine Alessandro
