Dear Valle Lindo School District Community,
Our schools will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th. The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority. Both campuses have been thoroughly cleared of debris and carefully inspected to ensure student safety. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to a safe learning environment. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and provide updates should circumstances change.
In light of the ongoing fires and air quality concerns, we are implementing the following proactive measures to ensure the well-being of our students while on campus:
- Outdoor activities, including Physical Education classes, will take place indoors.
- Nutrition, recess, and lunch periods will also be held indoors.
- Masks will be available upon request at school offices.
- Our Student Services staff will be available on January 9th to support any students who would like to speak with a member of our team.
If you or someone you know has not received this communication, please visit your school office to update your student’s contact information and ensure we have other important details on file. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work together to prioritize the safety of our learning community.
