Faith at Home

We all changed our worship routines this week! Listen to the latest episode of The Driving Story to hear the passage intended for Sunday school and worship, John 4:5-42, as well as some practices to choose from to connect with the Living Water this week.

COVID-19 Adaptations

We're learning together what being the church looks like in an period of social distancing. Here are some other opportunities to practice faith and be together virtually:

Family Reading Time on Facebook, 7 PM nightly: Sarah is reading a couple of chapters from George MacDonald's The Princess and the Goblin each evening. We hope this will be a way to spend time together while also calming down at the end of the day, without parents or other adults having to exert extra energy. If you can't watch live, the videos remain available on our Facebook page, First Baptist Church of Griffin Kids.
Sarah will also read some storybooks geared toward younger children via Facebook live. Those stories will appear at 8:30 AM on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Again, the videos will be available after the live feed ends, so your household is free to use them when it's convenient for you.
Group online check-in and coloring time: This Wednesday at 3 PM, join Sarah online to color and chat. Download and print the coloring sheet here. Use this link to access the online meeting space via Google Hangouts.
