“I’ve always known that I wanted to get into higher education, but I never really knew how to because I didn’t have anyone to look up to. But being in Project GRAD Akron, I saw people that actually went through the process of completing a degree. I knew that I could always ask questions and that they would give me guidance and help whenever I needed it. We still do mental check-ins to this day and they are actually helping me apply to grad schools!”
