Dear colleagues and friends,

The holidays are around the corner, and we hope you have safe and happy celebrations ringing in the new year. As 2019 comes to a close, I want to thank all of the dedicated scientists and staff who work at our Institute and express my gratitude for our supporters. Your belief in the work we do inspires us to make discoveries that lead to better ways to prevent, treat and cure disease.

 

This issue of Discoveries highlights some of the important advances our scientists have made this year. In 2020, we look forward to keeping you up to date on our achievements and community events, where you’ll have opportunities to join us in our mission: “From Research, the Power to Cure.”

A year in review: Our top 10 discoveries of 2019

Over the past 12 months, our scientists have been working hard to discover the origins of disease and launch bold new strategies for achieving cures.
