We hope that you are all taking the time to enjoy the outdoors and this beautiful spring weather. As we continue to practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we encourage you to keep a regular routine, wash your hands, get some exercise, and find something joyful or fun each day.
We hope that you have all seen our information about telehealth offering and that you are considering scheduling visits in this manner as appropriate. Please join us by signing up for MyChart today!
Many of you have had questions regarding virtual Well Visits. We have discussed this as a practice and believe that we are not able to effectively do a well visit without a physical exam. We cannot clear a child for sport participation without a heart and lung exam. We cannot appropriately state that your child is healthy without a complete physical. We want to provide the highest level of care to each and every one of our patients, and
at this time
we believe that we cannot do that at a well visit without the exam.
As long as our office remains open, we will continue to do Well Visits in the morning between 7am and 1pm. We understand your concern, and are taking extra care to limit any possible exposure to COVID-19 for our patients and our staff.
It is especially important for children and infants under age 2 years of age come to the office for these regular visits and routine vaccines. It would be a terrible tragedy to have an increase in measles, polio, pertussis, or other completely preventable diseases at this time!
Thank you for your continued understanding, support, and patience during this time.
