Living in a free nation and having the opportunity to vote is such a tremendous privilege. I hope each eligible Nampa resident has voted through an absentee ballot, voted early or plans to vote on election day, Tues., November 3.

Please take precautions if voting in person, but please vote by November 3.

Nampa's Economic Development Director named IEDA's
2020 Economic Development Professional of the Year!
The Idaho Economic Development Association (IEDA) awarded Nampa's Economic & Community Development Director Beth Ineck with the organization’s prestigious 2020 Economic Development Professional of the Year Award. The award is given annually to recognize Idaho’s premier economic development professional who in the last twelve months has made a significant impact in their community.

The City of Nampa Small Business Grant still has funds available to
help businesses due to COVID-19 expenses.
The deadline to submit applications is
October 30, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

The City of Nampa is utilizing a portion of its CARES Act allocation to provide grants to small businesses that meet certain qualifying criteria. The Small Business Grant will be provided to small businesses with average awards to individual applicants ranging from $10,000 to $15,000. Businesses need to apply for the program by October 30 but can submit reimbursement for necessary expenditures related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and costs incurred between June 20, 2020 through December 2, 2020. Through this program, the City of Nampa hopes to support our small businesses that have been greatly impacted by the pandemic.

The City of Nampa has partnered with the Nampa Chamber of Commerce, One Idaho and the Idaho Press to continue support for our local businesses.

Posters can be picked up at the Nampa Chamber of Commerce or the Mayor's office at Nampa City Hall.

The Nampa Chamber of Commerce has graciously agreed to be a one-stop shop for all local businesses, and has a variety of other resources including free masks, hand sanitizer and COVID-19 related signs in English and Spanish.

The City of Nampa and the cities of Boise, Caldwell and Meridian have partnered in identifying barriers to housing, as a part of each community's requirements to receive funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. We need your feedback!
