Out & About Fort Madison March 30, 2023

The Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC) is in the process of updating the Great River Region Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). This is a regional long-range planning effort conducted every 5 years to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the future progress of the Southeast Iowa region (Des Moines, Henry, Lee and Louisa Counties).  This information is used to develop priorities and strategies to be implemented regarding economic development, transportation, and community development for the region over the next 10 to 20 years and will guide SEIRPC staff in work it focuses on, including support for grant applications submitted for regional projects.  We are looking for your input to better understand strengths and weaknesses in these areas in Southeast Iowa and what should be the focus of future priorities in the region. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey at the link below by April 14th, 2023. If you are willing to share with coworkers, elected officials, city committees, students, or the general public (feel free to share on social media or local newsletters).  Feel free to contact me with any questions and thank you for your feedback! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SEIRPC2023CEDS
