La Vista Builds Spooky Structures: Minecraft Competition
This month kids ages 8-18 can enter in a competition to create their most spooky build! Builders will have until the ZOOM showcase on Sept. 24th at 1 P.M. to work on their builds. Photos will be posted after the showcase for the public to vote on until Oct. 17th. There will be one winner in the 8-12 bracket and one in the 13-18 bracket. Entry forms with detailed rules are available at the library and online.
Virtual Escape Rooms: Winner Raffle Sept. 30th
Complete a virtual escape room for the chance to enter a raffle drawing! Each escape room has a code word at the end. Tell us the code and your name will be entered for a prize raffle. You can enter once for each escape room. All ages are welcome to enter. The escape rooms can be completed alone or in a group. Computer or tablet recommended for play.

Celebrate National Sewing Month by sewing your own mini teddy bear!
Registration required. Ages 8-12.

Make Your Own Playdough
Platform: Zoom
4 p.m.
Pick up a kit and be prepared to get messy as you make your own playdough. Roll it, knead it, and mold it in this fun STEM activity. All ages. Parent participation required.

No Sew T-Shirt Bag
