*fah has been dancing tango for 5 years. she loves the dance for its endless possibilities, for its playfulness and for the unique way it makes two people communicate with each other. tango is seldom danced with just two people in the room, and this communal aspect has a big impact on her teaching. creating a space supportive and safe enough for everybody to be open (and at times vulnerable) is what comes first. her teaching focuses on technique and on how to create an embrace that breathes with the dance. and last but not least to explore creativity and self-expression as the basis of any good tango communication. she hopes to see you leading.....following.....connecting......dancing.

Ms. Eda Bagel in "Imitation of Wife" January 21 and 22

Gender Illusion Technician, Jeffrey A. Kash (aka "Ms. Eda Bagel") returns to the Dairy Center for the Arts for two performances of "Imitation of Wife."

Kash splices together film dialogue, showtunes and comedy routines - drawing heavily from sources from the 40's, 50's and 60's - to tell the story of Eda Bagel, a repressed housewife with no domestic skills.  Kash's lip-synching is spot-on, with facial expressions used to great comic effect.

The encore performance (which sold out in November, 2010) will benefit the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP), helping to fund the agency's crucial services related to HIV/AIDS relief, educational & advocacy efforts.
