Have you heard the great news that Redwood City events are starting up next week? We are so excited about Music in the Park, Movies on the Square, Sounds of the Shores, and more! Look for our Library table at the events and stop by to sign up for the Summer Learning Challenge!
You can also find us every other week at the Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8:30am-11:30am ( see you on July 17 and 31). Why not grab a free Summer Learning Challenge book while you're picking up your fruits and vegetables?

|
Do you have the Redwood City Public Library app? You can instantly tap into library resources... anytime, anywhere! You can manage your library account, access all of the library’s digital content, search and place holds, follow our social media accounts and much more. To get started, go here.
While you're at it, sign up to get text alerts! With our Shoutbomb service, you can get SMS messages telling you when your holds are ready, items are due, and more. Signing up for text messages from the library is easy! Text the word SIGNUP to (650) 285-1148 or go here for more information.

Looking to donate some of your books? The next Friends of the Redwood City Public Library donation event is Saturday, July 17 from 10am to 12pm at the Downtown Library. Bring your books in new or like new condition in bags or boxes that you will leave. Every donor must wear a mask and will be required to load the bags or boxes onto carts.
Did you know that the Friends Bookstore is now open? Our carts and shelves in the lobby of the Downtown Library are fully stocked with all your favorite items: fiction and nonfiction books, books for kids and young adults, CDs and DVDs, local and California books, paperbacks and graphic novels, gardening and cookbooks and so many more titles and categories to choose from. Happy shopping and browsing!
