2020 has been a year of adaptation for everyone. As we've spent more time apart, it has shown us just how important it is to come together to focus on a common goal. For ICAN, that means moving forward with our mission of changing lives on both ends of the leash. Thank you for standing by us this year. You are an important part in our success!
As we look towards a new year, we are taking steps in our strategic plan to ensure that ICAN continues to grow; helping those that need us most. This year illuminated we must continue to adapt our training program both inside and outside the prison to meet the ongoing demand for a service dog. We must make our new office into a space for clients and volunteers to safely come together to achieve our mission. Furthermore, we will concentrate on making successful service dog matches with the 88 people on our wait list while continuing to support our current placements in their individual journeys.
