Weekday Devotions For Lent
Monday, March 13, 2023
Week Three, March 13 - March 17
"The Lord is My Shepherd"
John Rutter, like other more recent composers, uses his requiem not only to honor the dead, but to comfort those who grieve. In our tradition, Psalm 23 has become one of the most powerful ways we remember that God is with us even in the depths of our grief, even as we walk through the darkest shadows.

Worship Scripture: Psalm 23

Guiding Questions:
What times in your life have felt like valleys? What things have offered you the peace of still water? What ways might you find still waters with God this week?
Music to Accompany your Devotional
Music is an important part of our faith: it comforts us, connects us to others as we join them in song,
and is a means of praising God. Many hymns draw on texts from the Bible, connecting us with other believers across time and space as we learn and repeat words that have been precious to prior generations and to our kin across the globe.
Lenten Drawing Prompts for Kids
These prompts are meant to keep children engaged and help children connect with the gospel in your family’s Lenten devotional practices.

March 13: Draw a picture of where you get your water.
