Greetings!
Thank you for your interest in using Renton School District facilities, sports fields, auditoriums, and other spaces. With COVID-19 restrictions in place for most of the last year, we know there is great anticipation for a return to district facilities. Renton School District takes our mission and the safety of those we serve seriously.
In early February, the District began limited sports conditioning for our HS athletes. With that success, and the impending start of WIAA activities, we are now planning to open up some of our facilities for rental. We anticipate resuming facility availability over four phases, beginning with Phase 1 on March 6th. Facility availability will be limited based upon health and safety conditions, in-person learning requirements, and athletic demands from WIAA sanctioned events.
Here is what is included in each of the four phases:

Phase 1 - User Levels 1a, 1b, and 2 will be allowed to use our Elementary School fields and parkings lots; and, Middle and High School Fields and Parking Lots in the evenings (after 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM for turf fields) and on non-school days.

Phase 2 - User Levels 1a, 1b, 2, and 3 will be allowed to use our Elementary, Middle, and High School fields and parking lots. Indoor spaces remain unavailable until we resume in-person learning at these schools. The performing arts center will resume limited bookings.

Phase 3 - User Levels 1 through 5 will be allowed to use our Elementary, Middle, and High School Fields and Parking Lots in the evenings (after 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM for turf fields) and non-school days. Indoor spaces remain unavailable until we resume in-person learning at these schools.

Phase 4 - User Levels 1 through 5 will be allowed to use all fields, parking lots, and indoor spaces during non school hours and all day on non-school days.
Please take this opportunity to get your account setup, organization created, insurance and required documents submitted, and rental requests submitted.
We will continue to provide updated communication and will be updating the facility rental section of the
district website with the current phase. We will also provide resources with guidance for maintaining safety and related COVID compliance while on district property.
