 In 1964, Lloyd Chittock purchased Ridge Feed & Supply on Ridge Road in Grass Valley. Since then, it is all in the family, as son Curt bought Ridge Feed from his father in 1987 and then further expanded the family business in 1994 with a second location, The Farm Store, in Penn Valley. Today the Chittock grandchildren, Chana and Nic, are responsible for the day-to-day business at both locations, which changed and consolidated the business names in 2015 to 
simply - Simply Country 
 Beyond the hard work of farming and agricultural enterprises, there is also playing hard after working hard. Earlier this year, Simply Country moved into the department of retailing E-Z-Go Golf Carts and Textron Off-Road vehicles, including kids-sized ATVs.
