Greetings, Penn Central Conference!
As you know, since the decision was made to put Hartman Center on the market, PCC has decided to partner with Lutheran Camping Corporation (LCC) and the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Lutheran church (ELCA). The hope is that this partnership will continue the strong legacy of outdoor ministry in Penn Central Conference & the spirit of Hartman Center.
In case you are not familiar with LCC, what it offers, or the facilities, I want to share with you a little bit of information. LCC has 3 sites: Camp Nawakwa (near Gettysburg), Camp Kirchenwald (near Mount Gretna), and The Wittel Farm (in Elizabethtown). In addition to summer camp, there are events and opportunities for all ages throughout the year at all 3 sites.
Below is information about what is coming up, along with links to the websites that provide more details and registration forms for each event. Also, attached are flyers for each of the events highlighted below, a schedule of all of the events scheduled through 2021, and the summer camp brochure and schedule.
Dive in to what sounds like fun, what might be familiar, and how you, a group from your church, or your entire church can engage in outdoor ministries through this partnership with our Lutheran friends.
And, of course, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me (firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-945-4585). If I don't know the answer, I can either find out or direct you to someone at LCC who can help you.
