We Exist to Glorify God and Make Jesus Known
Outdoor Services Start This Sunday!

With Ontario moving into Phase 1 this weekend, we will be able to hold outdoor services starting this Sunday. We are so excited to be gathering as a whole church in one service for the first time in 15 months! Come ready to sing and celebrate with us! Outdoor gatherings are safe and it is important for us to be together as a church. We will continue with outdoor services for Phase 1 and will transition to indoor services for Phase 2. Please be sure to register for the outdoor service. The link is provided below and on our website.

What Will the Service Be Like?
We are holding one service at 10am in our lower parking lot. We have room for up to 400 people seated as families, 2 metres apart. The service will be 75 minutes long. We will be celebrating communion together this Sunday. We will have coffee and water available. Song sheets will be provided. Please arrive at the church by 9:45am so that we can get settled and be ready to start at 10am.

Do I Need to Bring a Chair?
If you are able to bring chairs for your family, please do so. The Ushers will help you set up your chair 2 metres from other families. If you don’t have chairs, we do have some at the church you can use.

What About The Weather?
Please dress for the weather and be prepared if it is hot. This is not the time for your Sunday best, but we will dress casual and stay cool in the heat. Consider a hat and sunscreen. We will have some shade available, but it will be reserved for our seniors and those who need it most.

If rain is being forecast, we will be transitioning to 3 indoor services. An email will be sent out Saturday evening to inform you of the change and provide a new registration link. But we are praying for good weather and the opportunity to gather all together.

Will There Be Kids Ministry?
Yes! The nursery will be open indoors for babies newborn - 2. Kids age 2-Grade 5 will start with their families and then be dismissed before the sermon. Kim and her team will take the kids to a shady spot on the grassy hill for their own time of worship and teaching. Kids are also welcome to stay with their families if they prefer. More information on Kids Ministry can be found here or email kim@livinghopechurch.ca

Will There be a Live-Stream?
No. We are not able to live-stream from outside. But we really would encourage everyone to come and join us for these special services. For those who are not able to join us, we are planning to record the sermon and to post it to our website later in the day.

Do I Need to Wear a Mask?
You are welcome to wear a mask if you’d like, but the provincial masking laws are only applicable indoors. You are not required to wear a mask.

Will I Be Able To Use The Washroom?
Yes, the washrooms off the gym will be available. You will need to wear a mask to enter the building and use the washroom.
If anyone has a pop-up tent that they would be willing to lend to be used for shade, please contact Jeff.
