Our team is proud to provide our Asian community members with critical Computer Literacy Classes at MNC Wolfsohn Campus. These classes provide opportunities for individuals to strengthen their digital skills, build confidence, and stay connected with essential resources and services. Their involvement creates a more inclusive learning environment where participants share experiences, support, and grow together.

Thirty-five organizations and 289 people came together for the MNC Evans Campus Resource Fair. There were face painting and games for children and raffle prizes and booths for youth, health services, and much more! The food bank was happening so clients could get groceries and resources. Burgers and drinks were served to the families; it had a lasting impact on everyone.

Special guests that joined were BeChinatownSF CEO Lily Lo, Consul General of Guatemala Allan Omar Coronado Arriaza, SF Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing Letty Cheun and Miguel Becerra, and Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development Philip Verma and Nick Pagoulatos.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Officer Jordan Coverson from the San Francisco Police Department Mission Station who joined our families for an evening of conversation, learning, and community building. The Nurturing Couples and Parenting sessions provide a safe, supportive space where couples come to reflect on their relationships, share parenting experiences, and learn from one another.

Officer Coverson’s presence created a valuable opportunity for couples to engage directly with a local law enforcement representative. Parents asked questions, shared experiences raising children, and discussed ways to strengthen trust and communication between families and civic institutions.



This visit highlighted the importance of building strong relationships between community members and institutions. Such opportunities help families feel seen, heard, and supported while promoting trust and collaboration with community partners. We are grateful to Officer Coverson and the SFPD Mission Station for engaging with our families. In times of uncertainty and challenges, creating spaces where community and public servants connect is more meaningful and important than ever.

The MNC Housing and Homelessness Prevention team is receiving training sessions from the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab (GPL). Sessions are designed for the San Francisco Emergency Rental Assistance Program (SF ERAP) staff and focus on data-driven performance management. The goal is to help the team use data more effectively to improve service delivery and outcomes for vulnerable populations. With these skills, staff can provide more efficient and responsive assistance.

The training covers key linking measurements to goals, interpreting data to gain actionable insights, selecting steps to improve service quality and outcomes, and communicating effectively using data. This comprehensive training ensures that staff can analyze data and apply changes that benefit the people they serve. Ultimately, it aims to create a sustainable support model that adapts to the community’s changing needs.
