Sustainability @ KPL

Thanks for following our year of sustainability efforts. The library is a great place for your sustainability journey as well. Take advantage of all you can borrow and use here. Did you know that Kirkwood Library patrons get $7.50 worth of free prints a year? No need for a printer at home for those who have causal printing needs, our option is free and saves you from needing replacement ink or toner if you don’t have heavy printing demands. Even better, do you really need that print? Maybe an electronic copy is good enough. As paper lovers, we too are evaluating each thing we print and deciding if it is really necessary. Office paper is recyclable but an even easier bet is not making something, even if it can be recycled.
