Books & Beyond

New Year wishes go well with gifts. Look over our book shelves with great selections on a variety of topics. Shop for that special craft item, or for a family activity while browsing our popular calendar and card selection. Our volunteers thank you for your support in 2022. Their efforts support the library.

Story Walk

Finding a safe, fun and educational activity that your whole family will enjoy may feel like a task. Leave it to the library, we’ve got the perfect idea!

Head over to Kirkwood Park to take a walk around Walker Lake where you can follow our Story Walk. A librarian has handpicked the book that you follow spread by spread around the lake until you’ve enjoyed a whole story and some exercise. Look for the current story - Cyril and Pat by Emily Gravett.

Book Club Kit Contest!

Don’t forget to send those entries to Julia in Reference jmcdonald@kirkwoodpubliclibrary.org. Need more info, send her an email!
