Outreach is seeking volunteers to help with desserts for Church in the Field. Sign up to provide homemade cookies or brownies and drop them off at the church reception desk.

Meet in the St. Martin’s parking lot



Church in the Field ministers to the homeless in downtown Houston by serving a meal, serving as prayer partners, and providing praise music for the worship service once a month. Volunteers, age 18 and older, carpool to the service. To Sign Up, email Outreach.

Activity Center Gym

Make a global impact at St. Martin’s during Sunday School in the Activity Center Gym by cutting out shoe patterns from old jeans for Sole Hope. These shoe uppers will become size 4 shoes for barefoot Ugandan kids. The shoes will protect the children from painful parasites called jiggers. No special sewing or cobbling skills are required.

Amazing Place needs volunteers to help with their day program for individuals with mild to moderate dementia: Program Partners; Bible Study Leaders; Front Desk Volunteers; Memory Preservation Nutrition Program; Bilingual Brain Health Matters Presenter or Zoom Program Partners.

Volunteers are needed to sort donations, help in the warehouse, and help as personal shoppers. Clothed By Faith is an organization that provides one week’s worth of clothing to those in need, and whose mission is to demonstrate God’s love by providing gently used clothing to those in need.

A variety of essential volunteer positions to serve the homeless at Lord of the Streets (LOTS) are open Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - noon. Opportunities include meal prep, meal distribution, mail distribution, clothing room, trash pick-up outside the building, and client service coordinator (T, W, Th), among others.

Sign up for a two-hour shift in the air-conditioned UFE warehouse. You’ll sort, pack, and sticker endless pairs of undies that will end up in underwear drawers around the country. Second Saturdays and Third Thursdays.
