Many thanks to everyone that has made their voices heard this Fall! As we embark on this 18-month journey, the River Road-Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan is off to a great start because of your participation. This newsletter provides and update on what we have heard during the initial phase of outreach and outlines where we are headed in the new year. We hope you’ll share this with others in your neighborhood, encourage them to sign up for this newsletter, and continue to stay involved.
Since the October 17th meeting at North Eugene High School, we have been reading your comments, crunching the numbers and identifying themes. We have a lot of input to analyze and we plan on releasing our analysis in stages over the next month.
Our first report, available on our websitenow, outlines what we heard at the community event in October and at other small group events in October and November. Over the next few weeks we will publish an interactive map that will display comments related to specific places in the neighborhoods. Early in the new year we will release a report covering what we heard from business owners and under-represented communities.
As always, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions about the River Road - Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan.
The River Road and Santa Clara Community Organizations, in collaboration with neighbors, businesses, the City of Eugene and Lane County, are creating a vision that will guide decision-making in River Road and Santa Clara for decades to come.
