Chester J. Millett, Jr. Outstanding Teacher  

and Educational Support Personnel Award 2023  

The Chester J. Millett, Jr. Award is presented annually by the Abington School Committee to both a teacher and an educational support person who by her/his performance has demonstrated a willingness to assume responsibilities and perform deeds well above and beyond those normally expected, thereby distinguishing themselves by their great examples, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to helping students. 

Below you will find a link for the nomination form for the Chester J. Millett, Jr. Outstanding Teacher and Educational Support Personnel Award for 2023 to be used by all community members including APS staff, parents, students, School Committee Members, and the community at-large. The link to the form is also available on the Abington Public Schools website.  

The deadline for online submission is Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Midnight.   

The award will be announced during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week which is May 8-12 and presented at the “Back to School” district-wide staff meeting in August.  

Please use the link below to nominate a teacher and/or educational support personnel. Feel free to nominate as many educators as you would like for this award (submit a new form for each).
