Tickets on Sale for the Wine Walk in Barrington on Oct. 9

Tickets are on sale for the Fall Wine Walk on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 2:00-6:00 pm in downtown Barrington. This popular event provides an opportunity to enjoy fine wines from local suppliers, while exploring distinctive shops and restaurants. As an added attraction during the day, watch artists paint in the streets as part of the Plein Air Art Festival hosted by the Barrington Cultural Commission. Wine Walk tickets are $25 and sell out quickly. Must be 21 or older and show ID to participate. Check-in is at Neoteca, 130 S. Hough St. in Barrington.

Showcase your business to thousands of website visitors on the new BACC Member Marketplace! Videos are needed 2-3 days prior. For just $100 your promotional video will be displayed on the BACC website for a three-month period. New videos are also shared on BACC social media pages.

Space is limited and video placements are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Videos must be three minutes or less in length, and will include a link to your business website or social media page. New videos are posted the 1st and 15th of each month. Answers to FAQ on IL Face Covering & Vaccination Requirements

An Executive Order signed on Sept. 3, 2021 by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, requires all individuals over the age of 2 (who can medically tolerate a face covering) to wear a face covering when in indoor public places. The order also requires health care workers, school personnel, higher education personnel and students, and employees and contractors of state-owned or operated congregate facilities to be fully vaccinated. Small Business Owners Can Apply for Illinois B2B Grants Through Oct. 13

Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, now through Wednesday, Oct. 13, for The Back to Business (B2B) grant program. The B2B program is designed to maximize the impact of American Rescue Plan Act funds provided to Illinois. Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Accepting Vaccine Appointments

COVID-19 vaccine appointments for people 12 and older are now being accepted at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Hwy. 22 in Barrington.
