As we move through the summer season, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the 837 terrific providers who’ve attended REACH trainings this year. This number means thousands more children and families now have access to quality mental health care. We look forward to continuing to build on this impact! Scroll down to view some of our upcoming trainings, including Practical Behavior Management and CBT for Anxiety.

I am also excited to announce that REACH is co-hosting a free webinar in partnership with the National Center for Farmworker Health, where we'll be highlighting the barriers and challenges experienced by agricultural workers and their families in accessing mental health services.

Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of our REACH community. Together, we are making a profound difference on the lives of children and families!

REACH Presents at Annual NMA Conference

Last week, REACH faculty Noor Jihan Abdul-Haqq, MD and REACH Steering Committee member Danielle Laraque-Arena, MD led a presentation on a critical topic, Assessing & Managing Suicidality, at The National Medical Association Annual Convention & Scientific Assembly in New York City.

In the presentation, pediatricians Dr. Abdul-Haqq and Dr. Laraque-Arena and REACH Program Manager Sylvia Peng highlighted the importance of screening for suicide in primary care. We're grateful for opportunities like this to share our mission and valuable resources with more providers.
