U.S. Senate does not advance additional business relief funding for Restaurant Revitalization Fund
On May 19th, efforts to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) and related grant fund efforts did not receive enough votes to advance. Also, the closure of the EIDL program due to depletion of funds left outstanding application issues unresolved including original applications, reconsiderations, appeals, and those that were waiting for 4506-T transcripts from the IRS. Republicans are requesting information, but no additional funds or further resolution is expected at this time.
