Respite provides an opportunity away from home to make new friends, socialize and enjoy recreational activities in the community.  Our compassionate, well trained, and dedicated staff are there to provide support and supervision to all while in our care.

The need for overnight respite services is very demanding and we are always looking to improve.  We want to be fair to each family we serve and provide a program that is enriching for the people that visit us.  We have developed a system to replace the old "Call In" procedure.   Hopefully this will be a success for all.  Please continue to provide us your feedback.   Once your child has been approved for services take:

1. Please review the Family Guide to Respite HERE to help plan your loved ones stay. 
2. Click HERE for Annual update form.  This form must be completed before each stay. 
3. The calendar has been set for Respite sessions based on age and sometimes gender.  Review the schedule HERE to determine which sessions would be best for your loved one.
4. By June 1st, call, mail or click HERE to email Shaunice Faines your top three picks for Respite stays and any important information we should know about the reasons for the stay.
5. Submitting requests are not a guarantee of reservation. Everyone's requests will be considered along with creating a safe and compatible group.  Every effort will be made to honor the #1 request of each family but this cannot be guaranteed.  You will be notified by June 15th of your confirmed reservation.
