FAIRFAX, VA – Triple lane closures and periodic total traffic stoppages are scheduled to occur nightly on north- and southbound I-495 (Capital Beltway) in the vicinity of Georgetown Pike in McLean starting tonight, Friday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
These closures will continue nightly as follows:
- Monday through Friday, 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning (Oct. 7-11)
- Saturday, 10 p.m. to Sunday, 8 a.m. (Oct. 5-6 & 12-13)
- Periodic traffic stoppages of up to 30 minutes each between midnight and 5 a.m.
