Friends of International Institute,
As a result of the outpour of support from the community, we have been inundated with donations. This is an unprecedented level of support that the St. Louis community has extended to our new neighbors that will be arriving soon. This amazing level of generosity has come to a point that is no longer sustainable. The International Institute has rented rented off-site warehouse space, acquired pod storage, utilized all the storage space we have in the building, secured short term staffing and increased help from amazing volunteers. .
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to continue receiving in-kind donations. We are obligated to stop receiving donations and turn our focus to sorting, storing and distributing the donated items. We are tirelessly working on sorting and organizing what's already been donated to identify what still may be needed. Please be patient as we work through these items.
We understand that some groups have ongoing donations for the International Institute. We are only able to accept these donations on appointment basis. Please contact Wafa Osman ([email protected]) to schedule drop off dates.
We can always utilize items such as grocery gift cards & bus passes. These are items needed by current clients as well as the individuals and families that will be arriving tp St. Louis soon.
Financial contributions are always appreciated. Unrestricted donations allow IISTL to apply dollars where they are needed most. Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. More updates coming soon.
