Do you own a Drone?
The Four Corners Film Office is currently developing a fall workshop for drone owners and operators to provide information on all permits, public land policies best practices, resources and general guidelines that drone owners must follow. Tentative date: Saturday, Nov. 4, in Durango. Interested? Interested? Contact [email protected]  to receive updated information as plans are finalized.

El Moro Spirits and Tavern raising funds for firefighters:
To say "thank you" to our first responders, on the Oct. 5 anniversary of the Downtown fire that damaged El Moro, the restaurant will donate a portion of all revenues earned during the day to Durango Fire and Rescue. The restaurant will also accept donations to "fill the boot." Stop by for lunch, cocktails or dinner and support our firefighters.

Volunteer opportunity:
The 9R School District Advisory Accountability Committee (DAAC) seeks a volunteer from the business community to serve this school year as Community Representative. DAAC, a state-mandated oversight committee that monitors and evaluates the district's financial accountability, academic standards and safety objectives, meets the fourth Wednesday of each month, 5:30-7:30 p.m. through May.
