Located at 4117 South Taylor Drive, the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Sheboygan will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by  Wisco Hotel Group  of Madison, Wisconsin.

Eau Claire Commits Upwards Of $7M Toward Major Events Facility Partnership

The city of Eau Claire will spend upwards of $7 million toward a sports and events complex slated to break ground this summer.

A project three years in the making passed a key milestone on Tuesday when the City Council approved the development agreement between the City of Racine and Gatehouse Capital Corp. for a Downtown hotel and convention center tied to Festival Hall.

Former Bayview Inn property eyed for new hotel development in Minocqua
ABC 12
The site of a former Minocqua inn could see new development as early as this spring. Land surveyor, Jim Rein, will seek a conditional use permit from Oneida County for the creation of a new hotel on the foundation of the Bay View Inn and Mom's Laundromat.

Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) announces that, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.16 (1), it will hold a series of preliminary public hearings and receive written comments on a scope statement relating to possible revision of Wis. Admin. Code § ATCP 76, regarding Safety, Maintenance, and Operation of Public Pools and Water Attractions. 
Hearing testimony or comments will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis after the opening statements are read into the record.

Hearing Dates and Locations:
  • Friday, February 14 (10 am - Noon) : DATCP 
  • Monday, February 17 (11 am - 2 pm): Wausau Entrepreneurial and Education Center 
Following the public hearings, the hearing record will remain open until February 24, 2020, for additional public comments. Comments may be sent to DATCP at the address below, or to caitlin.jeidy@wisconsin.gov . Brand USA celebrated a big victory just before the holidays last year. Congress passed a seven-year extension of funding for the U.S. destination marketing organization, representing all 50 states, five U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.
Fall Board and Committee Meeting Date Change
The 2020 Fall Board and Committee Meetings will now be held on September 22 - 23 at the Pointe Hotel & Suites in Minocqua. The date has changed due to a conflict with the AHLA Legislative Action Day in DC.
