Info Notice: Important! How Our Upgraded System Affects YOU!

MESSAGE FROM THE CEO


Since 1924, POECU has been investing in our members, and the most important investment we can make is in modern technology that meets your ever-changing needs.


On October 1st, we will launch our new core data processing system, which improves our ability to securely maintain account and loan information, process transactions, and support debit cards, online banking, our mobile banking app, and more!


As we prepare for this launch, it's IMPORTANT that you know some key details as outlined below.

How Will Our System Upgrade Affect YOU?

Here's what you need to know NOW:


This upgrade provides a more enhanced, streamlined banking experience and brings you advanced technology and more features in Online Banking, our Moble App and Bill Pay, among other services. It also brings you advanced security and efficiency.


When Will This Upgraded System Conversion Take Place?

  • Our system will go completely offline on Monday, September 29th at 4:30 pm and come back online as we open at 9:00 am on October 1st.
  • Branches will be closed on Tuesday, September 30.


Will I Be Able to Access My Accounts During the System Upgrade?

  • Accounts will be unavailable - including Online Banking, Mobile App, and Shared Branching - during the offline times noted above.
  • Your Debit & ATM cards will work, but with lower daily limits during the offline times noted above.
  • Any ACH deposits and withdrawals that typically occur during the noted offline times may be posted earlier or may experience a brief and temporary delay. Any Share Draft (Checks) withdrawals that typically occur during the noted offline times also may be posted earlier or may experience a brief and temporary delay. Please note that we always post deposits before withdrawals for these types of transactions.


There will NOT be any changes to your existing account number(s), ATM Cards, Debit Cards, Checks, or any regularly scheduled transfer of funds between POECU accounts.


You will NOT have to make any changes to your current Direct Deposit or automatically scheduled withdrawals,


Here's what you need to know AFTER conversion:


  • ALL members will receive a paper statement mailed in early October, even IF you were previously enrolled in eStatements,
  • ALL members will continue to receive paper statements until you opt into eStatements through our new Online Banking.
  • ALL members who wish to use Online Banking will have to re-enroll. Online banking will still be found in the same spot on our website homepage.
  • Members using our current Mobile App will need to delete it and download our new app from the App Store or Google Play after October 1st.
  • Your newly created login credentials for Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be identical. A list of new and upgraded features can be found in the FAQs (click the blue button below).
  • Members currently registered in our Bill Pay program will need to resubmit your biller information into the new Bill Pay program on Online Banking. Our current bill pay program will end on September 29th.



We understand that you may have more questions and have set up an FAQ page on our website, which will be continually updated throughout this upgrade conversion. Please check our website often to make sure you stay informed.
