November 11, 2022
Dear Oxford College neighbors,
At Oxford College, we have identified six #OxPrinciples—belonging, care, accountability, presence, learning, and identify—to serve as guideposts for living and learning at Oxford. It is fitting that during November, which is National Gratitude Month, we are highlighting this important quality, which runs through and connects all of our principles As we focus on gratitude this month, I want to highlight a great way to give back to our local community. The annual Emory Cares events will be held tomorrow, Saturday, November 12, on the International Day of Service. There are three opportunities in the Oxford/Covington area, and we welcome you as community members to join in one of these projects:
·   The Nature Trail Clean-Up: 9:00–11:00 a.m. Meet outside Williams Gym
·   Care Boxes: 10:00 a.m.–Noon at the Oxford Student Center
·   Repairers of the Breach Thrift Store: 9:00 a.m.–Noon at Repairers of the Breach
To register for one of these events or to explore additional opportunities, click here.

As always, please reach out if you have ideas or suggestions for ways that Oxford College can be a resource or partner for you. If you ever have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Laura Gafnea, Oxford's Director of Community Relations.
