Welcome to our March Newsletter

We welcome two new members of staff at the College this year: Angela Costley (College Administrator) and Sian Long (Examinations Officer). Together with Claire Fell, now our full-time Student Welfare Manager, and Eleanor Dear, now Director of Studies, we have a fantastic team in place to support our growing number of students and tutors.

Congratulations to our student from Mauritius, Antoine Harel for receiving an unconditional offer to read Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. Antoine joined us for the Autumn Term and did an A-level in just one term alongside preparing for his interview. He contributed a lot to our weekly "Maths Puzzles" sessions led by
Dr Tet Amaya.

Yutaro Saito too has been offered to study at Oxford (Theology and Oriental Studies). Yutaro is from Japan and never fails to astonish us with his thirst for knowledge and desire to complete everything to the very top standard. Well done and good luck in attaining top grades, Yutaro!

Good luck to Katrina Grima who is busy training and fundraising to run the full 26 mile marathon in London this May as part of her Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) qualification. Kat is raising funds for the NSPCC. Although Kat, from Malta, has always been athletic, distance running is a new challenge for her. Please contact the college if you would like to help her reach her sponsorship target.

All three weeks take place at St Edward's School, an independent boarding school set in its own grounds of 110 acres in the city of Oxford. For more information visit our holiday programmes page.
