Patient with a pregnancy loss?

Find support for providers and for families at Sunnybrook's Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PAIL) Network. Support includes:

  • Workshops where providers can learn how to better support bereaved families.
  • Peer-led groups and individual support services at no cost to the patient.


New alcohol consumption guidelines

Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction released new guidance, and less is better.  Patient infoguidelines for providers. 


Virtual Care Guidance Statements Checklist and other resources

The Checklist for Clinicians and other support tools for using Virtual Care in Primary Care are now up on the Ontario Health website(English and French). For comments or questions, please email [email protected].

Free, 1-on-1, Best Practice CE Discussions with pharmacists (Academic Detailing)

(Mainpro+ Accredited)


Visits by pharmacists from the Centre for Effective Practice or Thames Valley FHT to family physicians, primary care nurse practitioners, and family medicine residents.


We facilitate practice change by tailoring information and resources to your interests/practice. Current topics include:

  • Type 2 diabetes (insulin and non-insulin pharmacotherapy)
  • Falls prevention
  • Heart failure


New topics are added every 5-6 months, and we will update them here.

Oxford OHT welcomes new primary care lead

Andrea McPherson has joined the Oxford OHT as Primary Care and Clinical Collaboration Lead. She has a great deal of clinical experience as a nurse and most recently as an educator in the ED. Andrea will work to strengthen the Oxford OHT's engagement with primary care and physicians. She will also use her clinical knowledge in support OHT projects.
