Two More CAST High Schools Taking Shape on the Southside

One month after  the Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Tech High School  opened its doors to its  inaugural class,  plans for CAST STEM and a third CAST high school have emerged.
UTSA Math Program Now Registering For Spring
Do you know a 1st-5th grader that wishes to improve in their problem solving skills? SEE Math offers support and enrichment in math (with STEM connections) through hands-on approaches and meaningful connections.
Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March

Join the UTSA contingent for the annual city-wide MLK March to honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families.

Ready, Set, Grow!

KLRN’s Ready, Set, Grow! program offers families (with young children) an opportunity to connect in a family-friendly, educational environment. Activities are for the community at large as well as military and veteran families. Families meet once a week to participate in parallel play experiences, and explore PBS KIDS programs, apps and resources. 
Buffalo Soldier Day is January 14th at the ITC

As part of Dream Week 2018, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures is offering visitors a chance to experience life as a Buffalo Soldier. After the Civil War, African Americans earned a permanent place in the United States Armed Forces.
Warning Signs For Bullying

T here are many warning signs that may indicate that someone is affected by bullying—either being bullied or bullying others. Recognizing the warning signs is an important first step in taking action against bullying. Not all children who are bullied or are bullying others ask for help.
