Meet P.R.A.Y. at AHGinspire
Welcome to St. Louis!

P.R.A.Y. is excited to be part of the AHGinspire Leadership Conference. Visit the P.R.A.Y. booth in the Exhibit Hall to learn about the new Jesus and Me Program and see samples of both the P.R.A.Y. Curriculum Series and the Bible Basics RP3 Patch Series. Come meet the people from P.R.A.Y. and discover ways to strengthen your AHG ministry!
Jesus and Me Coming September 2018
The new curriculum for children in kindergarten and first grade will be ready for the fall in time for the new program year. Jesus and Me introduces Jesus as the Son of God but in familiar terms so that young children can see Jesus in their own day-to-day experiences, i.e. as storyteller, teacher, friend, and healer. The Jesus and Me curriculum is meant to be interactive and experiential. The Counselor Manual helps introduce music, art, movement, games, discussion and wonder into the program. The “Jesus Scroll Craft” is a hands-on component that builds from lesson to lesson and helps children tell their story of Jesus and me together. Children will make a “scroll” using paper towel tubes and add a story to their scroll after each Bible lesson. P.R.A.Y. recognizes that parents and guardians are responsible for the faith development of their children, so the Jesus and Me program will require their participation and encourage parent-child interaction. Jesus and Me has truly been a team effort. P.R.A.Y. has been blessed with volunteer writers from different denominations, a teen volunteer artist from American Heritage Girls, and numerous people from all backgrounds who have reviewed outlines, drafts and provided important feedback and insight into the program.

Just as important are the donors who have stepped forward with financial gifts to help fund the Jesus and Me curriculum. Initial startup costs are estimated to be $10,000. To date we have raised over $6,500. We need your help. Please consider a financial gift to P.R.A.Y. to launch the Jesus and Me curriculum. Include P.R.A.Y. Patches in your Summer Programs
P.R.A.Y. offers two different patches, both of which can be used in your summer programs:
  • Promotional Puzzle Patches – The “puzzle” patch is a simple promotion patch with one goal in mind: promoting religious emblems. Click here for details.
  • Bible Basics RP3 Series – Each of these patches focuses on 3 Bible stories. The ones with outdoor themes are especially suited for camp. The lessons are discussion based and are available at no cost. Click here to request your free copies. Patches can be ordered ahead of time in the P.R.A.Y. webstore.
