Voting Resources

The Voter Education Toolkit from the Pennsylvania Department of State (DOS) has non-partisan materials that you can use with your students to promote voting and civic literacy. The DOS wants Pennsylvania voters to know what they can expect when they use the voting systems in place throughout the state and to understand how the passage of election reforms in Pennsylvania will impact elections this year and beyond. Voter education is very important, and you can use this toolkit to inform your students.

You can also encourage your eligible learners to register to vote before the October 24 deadline.

Look to Newsela.com for articles that you can use to discuss and explore the topic of voting with your students or investigate vote.pa.gov, Pennsylvania's official voter information website.

Election day is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
