Register Now!


Due to popular demand, three treks will once again be offered to participants: Webelos/Arrow of Light (AOL), Scouts BSA sled, and Iron Will. Troops are welcome to camp for the weekend. Cub Scouts Packs planning to participate can sign up for Saturday only.

2025 Spring Product Sale - Sign Up By January 10th

2025 SPRING PRODUCT SALE

Unit Leaders, Sign-Up Today!


Offer this opportunity to your Scouts -

they can help earn their way to summer camp

or other Scouting adventures.


We are once again partnering with Dutch Mill Bulbs located in Palmyra, PA. We first partnered with Dutch Mill Bulbs in 2023 which resulted in a great sale. Since we first partnered, Dutch Mills has supported the PA Dutch Council in other fundraising events. We truly appreciate their commitment to Scouting in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.


The spring sale will run from January 17, 2025 to March 12th. Units can sign-up for the sale now until Friday, January 10th, 2025. Each participating Unit will keep 25% commission on the total sales. By signing-up your Unit, you are providing an opportunity for your Scouts to help earn their way to summer camp.


Online Sales: Scouts will again have the opportunity to sell bulbs to their friends and family through online sales! More information will be provided in the spring sale guidebook that is in development.

Sales Kits: If your Unit is signed-up by 1 pm on January 2nd, your sales kit will be available for pick-up at your district roundtable meeting on January 2nd. See below for meeting locations. After January 2nd, please sales kits will be available at the Scout Shop. Be on the lookout for an email confirming your sales kit has been assembled and is ready for pick-up.

What’s better than an evening with your Scouting friends? Competing with, or against them, at Trivia Night! Come with a group, play solo, or form a team when you arrive at the Millersville VFW on Friday, January 10th for the Susquehanna District's Trivia Night.

Scholarship Opportunity - Deadline January 24, 2024

Glenn A. & Melinda W. Adams Service Project of the Year Award

Do you know of an Eagle Scout who did a project this year that you thought was over and above that of his peers; one that really made an impact on the community? If so, please recommend that Scout for the Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award. 


Nominations for the Glenn A. & Melinda W. Adams Service Project of the Year Award can be submitted through the Council's local NESA Committee. The deadline for submission is January 24, 2025. Applications can be dropped off or mailed to the Council Service Center: Pennsylvania Dutch Council, 630 Janet Ave Ste B-114, Lancaster, PA 17601.

January 2025 Roundtable Topics

District Roundtables

Open to all Unit Members and Volunteers, roundtables are held the first Thursday of each month, from September through May. The goal of these meetings is to provide leaders with information that will help their units thrive.

CUBMASTERS - SPECIAL OFFER WHEN YOU SCHEDULE A CAMP PROMOTION VISIT!

If your Pack hosts a Camp Promotion Presentation by March 31, 2025, your Unit will receive a $50 gift certificate towards the total camp fees.

2025 Campership Application

Deadline March 28, 2025


Camperships exist to help Scouts with a financial need attend a Pennsylvania Dutch Council summer camp. Unit leaders, don’t let a lack of funds keep Scouts in your unit from attending camp this summer. Please share this information with your Scouts.


Camperships are given based upon need and funds available. To apply, fill out and submit the Pennsylvania Dutch Council Campership Form found on our website link below. Once completed, camperships applications can be emailed to robin.kotzmoyer@scouting.org.

Join Our 2025 Summer Camp Staff!


The Pennsylvania Dutch Council is in the process of preparing for the 2025 summer camp season and recruiting staff for each Scout camp. Anyone 14 or older can become part of our Bashore Scout Reservation or Camp Mack Staff.
