The Department of Education and Department of Human Services Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) is pleased to announce release of the draft Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) state plan. The Child Care Development Block Grant is one of the primary federal funding sources for monitoring regulated child care programs, child care subsidy through Child Care Works, and child care quality improvement through Keystone STARS.

The following hearings provide an opportunity to learn more about what the state plan is and why it is important, as well as to provide testimony regarding what is in the state plan.
HARRISBURG PUBLIC HEARING

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30, 2018
- All are welcome to attend.

PHILADELPHIA PUBLIC HEARING
When:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8, 2018
- All are welcome to attend; however, this is a secure building. Please be prepared to show your ID upon entrance.
- Send an email to RSVP. If you choose to provide testimony, please RSVP no later than noon May 4, 2018.
PITTSBURGH PUBLIC HEARING
When:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 9, 2018
- There is a limit of 50 seats in this session
- Send an email RSVP. If you choose to provide testimony, please RSVP no later than May 7, 2018.
