Did you receive an email from PA Museums about our membership in September?

We are now using Wild Apricot to manage your membership information, and part of this change means you will receive renewal notices via email. You can renew online directly through Wild Apricot. To sign in, please visit www.pamuseums.wildapricot.org , click “forgot password,” and enter your email address. When Wild Apricot sends you an email, you can create a password, and access your account. You can update your information and pay your invoice securely through the Wild Apricot system.

We still offer members to renew through our website using a credit card, and you can still renew your membership with a check through the mail to: PA Museums, 300 North Street, Room 504, Harrisburg, PA 17120.

You should be thinking about what part you will play in The Strategic Museum: Mission in Community , our 2020 statewide museum conference, April 19-21 in Pittsburgh. Our conference is a great opportunity for businesses that work with museums to connect with customers and start conversations.



CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

Save the date for the Pennsylvania Archives' 2019 Archives and Records Management Seminar, October 23, 2019. Registration opened yesterday, and full description of programs is posted on our website.

The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums' conference will be held in West Point, NY, October 16-18, 2019. The preliminary program is available and registration is open.


MARAC GRADUATE SCHOOL ARCHIVAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

To provide financial assistance to a student in the MARAC region and to promote the study of archival administration, two one-time awards of $1,000 for the 2019-2020 school year (to be awarded for the spring 2020 semester) will be paid directly to the educational institution.

The deadline to apply is October 31, 2019.
