Halloween Carnival


Our first Pizza Lunch was a success!  Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and grateful students for making it an awesome day!  We will be looking for 6 new volunteers next month so be on the lookout for the sign up.  Next Pizza Lunch is November 9th, mark your calendars! 


The collection for LSA Family Health Service in East Harlem is tomorrow and Tuesday morning at drop-off. LSA urgently needs new socks and underwear for men, women and children, gently used clothing (especially men's cold weather clothing), strollers, diaper bags and backpacks. We are still in need of a few drivers to help transport the donations. Please use the link below to sign up. Contact with any questions. 

LSA Volunteer Sign Up


The volunteer sign up for the Halloween Carnival on Monday, October 31st will be giong out tomorrow at noon! There are many volunteer opportunities including photographer, game attendants, classroom lunch coverage and the highly coveted Halloween Carnival set-up on Sunday. There will be four shifts of volunteers on the carnival day:

  • 8:15-10:15AM
  • 10-12:15PM
  • 12-2:15PM
  • 2-4PM

Please see the class schedule below to determine the shift that works best for you. Please note PK-3 and PK-4 students must be accompanied by a caregiver therefore those caregivers will not be able to sign up for the 8:15-10:15am slot. It is likely that parents may be able to sign up for another slot given the large amount of volunteers needed but at this time only one 10/31 sign up per parent is permitted.  Parents may sign up to set up and still volunteer at the carnival.
