On April 20, 2020, Governor Polis announced that the Stay at Home Order in Executive Order D 2020-24 ordering all non-critical businesses to remain temporarily closed until April 26, 2020 would be lifted on April 27, 2020, and rolled over to a Safer at Home Order (see the Governor’s presentation here)

We understand that many of you are eager to return to work and have questions on how the new Safer at Home Order will impact your ability to resume your operations. The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is working on getting guidance from state leadership as quickly as possible. Specifically, we are seeking clarification on how the new order impacts the ability of PACFA facilities to resume operations.

The state is working on providing coordinated guidance for all businesses that are allowed to re-open. CDA and PACFA are supportive of allowing PACFA licensed businesses to re-open on April 27, 2020. We are hopeful that the new Safer at Home Order, and the guidance that will soon be provided, will allow all PACFA facilities to operate in the coming days under appropriate social distancing protocols.

We will continue to update you, and the PACFA website, as new information and guidance is made available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
