Hello Everyone-

Obviously the year 2020 will go down as one of the most significant times in our lifetimes if not in world history! All of us at PACFA and at CDA hope that all of you have been able to keep yourselves and your families safe and healthy during what seems like this never ending pandemic!

We are extremely grateful that everyone in Colorado is doing their part to keep each other safe and that we haven't had to go backwards and experience another Stay at Home Executive Order. PACFA worked diligently to advocate on behalf of pet animal facilities in Colorado to remain essential businesses and to get those that had to close back to work as soon as possible. CDA and PACFA were in frequent communication with the Governor's Office and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) to make sure all pet animal care facilities could reopen quickly once the order was lifted in late April.

We want to thank our licensed community for all of your efforts to strictly follow the protocols and guidelines that CDPHE put in place so that our pet animal care facilities can continue to remain open. Our inspection team at CDA wants to thank all of you for doing your part to keep everyone safe in your facilities by continuing to follow strict social distancing and mask wearing safety protocols. Our hope is that if everyone continues to follow these strict protocols we can keep pet animal care facilities open through future waves of the pandemic this fall and winter.

Thank you for all that you do to keep Colorado's pet animals safe and healthy! Please take care of yourselves and your families in order to stay healthy during these unprecedented times!
