PA Chamber Gears Up for Busy Fall Agenda

As the summer draws to a close, the PA Chamber is gearing up for a busy fall. This season always
marks a flurry of activity for our organization - particularly towards the end of September, when our

Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County 
On Aug. 18, the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County, Penn State University, and RJ Lee Group, Inc. officials announced the Pittsburgh-based company's plans to expand its business operations to Centre County. After signing a research and development Memorandum of Understanding with the university and inking a long-term lease for space in a currently under construction building at Innovation Park, RJ Lee Group, Inc. highlighted plans to become an integral part of the local economy.The company plans to offer cost-effective, rapid turnaround analytical laboratory services, and develop and commercialize new technology, which could lead to 25 to 30 new jobs over the next three years. CBICC President and CEO Vern Squier, CCE, PaCCE, said there is excitement about the near-term and future economic impact potential of RJ Lee Group's decision to locate in the county. "Working with RJ Lee Group on matters related to engagement with the local community has been a distinct component of this recruitment project, as the company sees its investment extending beyond the lease agreement and initial jobs that will be created." Squier said.
Chamber of Greater Philadelphia 
It's been a few months since the successful launch of our Grow PA online newsletter. Thanks to you, the newsletter is growing daily and telling extraordinary stories of innovation and opportunity throughout our state.  In an effort to better share these stories of innovation and develop a plan for economic growth to share with Pennsylvania gubernatorial and legislative candidates, we will be gathering on November 15 in Harrisburg.
