The newly formed Local Leadership Network is developing town committee toolkits like this one on visibilities. The video demonstrates creative ideas for our membership that could effectively draw attention to our messages and engage viewers.

Many thanks to our Visibility Team led by Anne Hunnewell and fellow committee members: Joyce Weston, Martha Richards, Stephanie Osborne, Fran Taylor and Parker Griffin.

Haverhill Fair July 28th - August 1st Volunteer Opportunity

Summer is here and it’s time to think about the Haverhill Fair! The fair will take place on Wednesday, July 28th through Sunday, August 1st. Martha Richards and Bill Bolton have partnered with the Grafton County Democrats to table the event. Volunteers are needed to set up our booth, occupy it during the days of the fair, and then take down the booth at the end of the fair. Sign up here: https://bit.ly/3dAw7D0

The Haverhill Fair is the only fair that is specific to Grafton County, and is a fun and effective way to spread the word about the good work of our local Democratic Party and our active, engaged regional committees. This will give us a great opportunity to meet with fair-goers, engage with voters, recruit new committee members, and have fun!
RUMNEY PARADE AND OLD HOME DAY!

Join us on Saturday, August 14, for Rumney’s Old Home Day at the Rumney Commons from 8am to 3:30. Plymouth Area Democrats will have a booth featuring new bumper stickers and buttons to raise funds for our organization. This is always a fun event with food, crafts, and music.

If you’d like to join us for the parade, it’s super to march along with our patriotically-decorated truck. It’s all downhill and the distance is very short — easy for everyone. We will have signs to carry or you can wave a flag. If you want to join the parade, you can meet us the “mill” (White Mountain Fiberglass) on Stinson Lake Road at 9:30 for the line-up. The parade starts at 10am. We are looking for booth volunteers, and would like teams of two people for three shifts: 9-11, 11-1, and 1-3. Sign up to volunteer by emailing Martha Richards at [email protected].

The PAD Event Committee will be in charge of setting up the booth and then dismantling it at the end of the day. It’s a great time to talk to people and let them know why they should vote Dem!
