PADT Sponsors "Best Use of Prototyping" Award for 2025 UofA Design Days

For 15 years, PADT has been sponsoring the "Best Use of Prototyping" award for the 2025 Design Days at the University of Arizona School of Engineering. And this year was no exception. PADT's Joe Woodward once again made the trip to Tucson to judge with other industry experts and then hand out our custom 3D-printed awards and a check for $750.

This year's trophy was 3D Printed directly from a rendering done in Keyshot using a marble stone texture for the main body. We used our Stratasys Polyjet J55 to make 8 copies.

This year the award went to team #25004, Airplane Fuel Selector Valve Control for Armless Pilots

Multiple sponsors, including many who are long-term PADT customers, handed out over $51,000 in prizes.
