What interested you in joining the PAF: I knew other PAF members and wanted to get involved.
"Being a former athlete at UOP and understanding the opportunities that were provided and the costs associated with travel, running a program, etc. I wanted to be in a position where I could help give back and make sure other athletes are able to experience the same things I did as a collegiate athlete." -Wes Widmer

Heather Cox, NBC Sports Reporter
Former Pacific women's volleyball player (1988-1991), Heather (Schoeny) Cox, currently serves as a sideline reporter for NBC Sports' Thursday Night Football coverage, and joined NBC Sports on a full-time basis in August 2016 after 22 years at ESPN.

In February, Cox made her Winter Olympics debut in PyeongChang working as an Alpine Skiing reporter. She had previously been a part of NBC's Olympics' coverage during the last four Summer Games. Most recently, she served as a reporter on NBC's volleyball coverage during the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Women's Basketball
Women's basketball hosted their 3rd annual Tiger Turkey Tip Off last week where they picked up wins against North Dakota State and Wyoming. This marked the first time the Tigers have won both games of the tournament.

Brooklyn McDavid led the way against NDSU with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Valerie Higgins' 28 points and Ameela Li's 22 points guided the Tigers to a 70-64 win over Wyoming.

Last night the Tigers made it 3 wins straight with a road victory at San Jose State by the score of 91-67. They return to action Thursday, December 6th when they host Seattle U.
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP SPOTLIGHT
Helen Harney Crittenden Endowed Scholarship

Men's Basketball's Lafayette Dorsey is the recipient of the Helen Harney Crittenden Endowed Scholarship. Dorsey is a sophomore guard from Los Angeles, California majoring in Communication Studies.

The purpose of this Fund is to provide student support benefiting Pacific men's basketball student-athletes. Dorsey is one of three men's basketball players to receive this scholarship.
This season, Dorsey is averaging 12.6 points per game in the Tigers 5-4 start. He scored 16 of his 18 points against UC Riverside in the second half and had a career high 19 points against Elon, leading him to earn the City of Stockton Human Resources Player of the Game in both games. He recorded his fourth-consecutive double-digit scoring night on Wednesday at Fresno State with 16 points. He is currently 29-31 (93.5) from the free throw line this season.

In his freshman season, Dorsey appeared in 24 games for the Tigers averaging 15.4 minutes, 7.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. He scored in double digits in five contests, scoring a career-high of 18 against Saint Mary's.

The next PAF Pre-Game Hospitality is tomorrow night prior to the men's basketball game vs. Air Force. It will be from 5:00-6:30 and feature light hors d’oeuvres from Midgley's Public House, hosted bar, chalk talk with one of the Men’s Basketball coaches, and an hour and a half of socializing with PAF members and Tiger supporters. If you are eligible to attend these events, click below to view the full schedule.
